Stefano Cicale graduated in physics (MS) from the University of Rome La Sapienza in 1992. Since then he has been working at Centro Sviluppo Materiali on Electrical Steels metallurgy (both GO and NGO). He has worked on numerous projects related to the process, product and application development of electrical steels, working in partnership with producers and users worldwide. Stefano has in this framework authored a number of scientific papers and patents. Since 1992 he has held the position of researcher, head of the electrical section and in 2010 became took the position of Project Leader for all projects related to electrical steel. As Project Leader for this division he has led a variety of leading CSM projects on Electrical Steel, many commissioned by major electrical steel producers worldwide, as well as cooperative projects involving electrical steel producers and universities, funded by EEC.
